Description: This template shows how IFN-alpha/beta binding to the IFNAR1-IFNAR2 receptor activates JAK1 and TYK2 to phosphorylate STAT1 and STAT2, which combine with IRF9 to bind ISRE elements and drive interferon-stimulated gene transcription. In parallel, IFN-gamma binding its receptor activates JAK1 and JAK2 to phosphorylate STAT1 dimers that bind GAS elements, both pathways contributing to interferon signaling in psoriasis.
