It also traces the citrate to alpha-ketoglutarate pathway in the cytoplasm and mitochondria, showing how IDH1 and IDH2 mutations produce D-2HG, which along with the kinase pathways can lead to BAP1 mutations and other DNA damage response deficiencies.
