Assembling Nucleosomes During DNA Replication
Description
This template shows how newly synthesized histones are assembled into nucleosomes during DNA replication, with the CAF-1 complex loading histones onto replicating DNA at the PCNA-bound replication fork. The resulting nucleosome moves along the DNA strand, generating an array of evenly spaced nucleosomes trailing behind the assembly intermediate.
