Description
This template shows a four-step sequence of a B cell binding a virus through its BCR recognizing a viral epitope, internalizing and degrading the virus so peptides load onto MHC II, presenting the peptide to a Tfh cell via CD4, CD40, and CD40L with IL-21 signaling, and finally producing antibodies specific to the viral coat protein. Each step is depicted with the B cell changing internal state as it processes and responds to the antigen.
