Description
Procedural process of developing a cell assay to test different niclosamide chemical analogues to treat HIV. It begins with collecting a blood sample containing MT-2 cells from an Alzheimer's Disease patient for purification and isolation before culturing them in a medium. Then, the MT-2 cells are infected with HIV prior to placing them into assays and adding a particular niclosamide analogue. Finally, allow interaction between the HIV-infected cells and analogues.
