Description:

This template shows the steps of bacterial transformation, starting with log phase E. coli, transferring the cells to cold CaCl2 solution, and adding ampicillin-resistance plasmids with heat shock. The cells are then plated on ampicillin agar, incubated for 24 hours, and the surviving ampicillin-resistant E. coli colonies are isolated.
