Description
This template shows the hierarchical organization of chromatin, starting from a 2 nm DNA double helix that winds around core particles to form 11 nm nucleosomes, which pack into a 30 nm chromatin fiber. The fiber then arranges into irregular loops forming a 300 nm fiber, coils further into a 700 nm fiber, and finally condenses into a 1400 nm metaphase chromosome with a visible centromere.
