Circulation of Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)
Description
The circulation of CSF is depicted in the coronal and sagittal views. It flows from the lateral ventricles to the third ventricle, then to the aqueduct of Sylvius, and finally to the fourth ventricle. From the fourth ventricle CSF moves through the foramen of Magendie and foramina of Luschka to subarachnoid space where absorption of CSF occurs through the arachnoid villi.
