CRISPR-Cas9 Delivery via RVG-Modified Exosomes for Neuron-Targeted Treatment
Description
This image depicts a CRISPR-Cas9 delivery method via RVG-modified exosomes for neuron-targeted treatment. First, cells are transfected with vectors containing VSV-G, RVG-Lamp2b, and N-myristoylated Cas9. Exosomes are then extracted and modified with RVG for neuron targeting. Once injected, these exosomes cross the blood-brain barrier, delivering CRISPR-Cas9 to neurons, knocking out mutant ATXN3, and restoring the ubiquitin-proteasome system for therapeutic benefits.
