Effector Response Induced by 2nd Order Cytokines
Description
This template shows how five lymphocyte subsets, including Tfh, Th2, Th1, Th17, and iTreg cells, release distinct second order cytokines that act on different effector cells to produce specific immune responses. For example Tfh cells signal B cells via IL-21 to produce antibodies, while Th2 cells release IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 to drive worm expulsion and mucus production through basophils, eosinophils, and epithelia.
