Description

This figures describes the protocol to generate bone marrow chimeric mice. Six weeks after irradiation and reconstitution with donor bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells, recipient mice are subcutaneously inoculated with 102 FFU of VEEV ZPC738, weighed, and sacrificed after 5 days. This figure is adapted from Figure 5B of the article 'Entry receptor LDLRAD3 is required for Venezuelan equine encephalitis virus peripheral infection and neurotropism leading to pathogenesis in mice'.
