Description
Preparation and application of a GEM/micelles solution for tumor treatment. Polymers (PDLLA and PEG blocks) self-assemble into micelles, which are mixed with GEM to form the GEM/micelles solution. This solution is injected in vivo using endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle injection for localized tumor treatment. Over time and with controlled temperature, the solution forms a micelles cross-linked hydrogel, allowing controlled GEM drug release directly into the tumor site.
