Gibson Assembly Cloning 1
Description
Gibson Assembly Protocol is a powerful molecular cloning technique, enabling the seamless construction of recombinant DNA molecules. The process starts with linear vector and DNA inserts featuring overlapping ends. Using Gibson assembly, these fragments are simultaneously and seamlessly joined in a single isothermal reaction. The resulting transformed vector is then introduced into competent bacterial cells through transformation. This method simplifies the assembly of multiple DNA fragments into a single, functional recombinant molecule without relying on restriction enzymes or ligases. [Adapted from GPT4, 2023]
