HLA-E monomer peptide exchange and ELISA Verification assay
Description
HLA-E monomers which are loaded with a UV-labile peptide are exchanged with a given query pathogen or self peptide under UV light for a given amount of time. This results in either stable HLA-E-peptide complexes (B2M, native conformation) or unstable HLA-E-no peptide complexes as the UV-labile peptide is broken down. After this, the relative amount of B2M-associated HLA-E-peptide monomer is assessed through an ELISA assay which determines the amount of B2M- associated HLA-E.
