Macrophage Polarization by T-helper Cells
Description
This template shows M0 macrophages polarizing into M1 or M2 macrophages depending on T-helper cell signals. Th1 cells release IFN-gamma, TNF-alpha, GM-CSF, and LPS to drive proinflammatory, anti-tumoral M1 macrophages, while Th2 cells release IL-4, IL-10, IL-13, IL-33, PGE2, and TGF-beta to drive anti-inflammatory, pro-tumoral M2 macrophages involved in wound healing and immunosuppression.
