Description

This figure shows a gold nanoparticle-based lateral flow assay for microRNA detection. First, miRNA from a biological sample binds to a thiol-GNP-tagged probe (Step 1). This complex migrates along a strip, binding at the test line (T) to a biotin-tagged capture probe, indicating miRNA presence (Step 2).
