Description
This template shows the Notch signaling pathway, starting with Delta binding Notch and ADAM10 and gamma secretase cleaving the receptor at the S2 and S3 sites to release the Notch extracellular domain (NECD) for receptor endocytosis and the Notch intracellular domain (NICD). The NICD then enters the nucleus to bind CSL with either a co-repressor, blocking target gene transcription, or a co-activator and MAM, activating transcription of target genes.
