Process of Tissue-Engineered Scaffold
Description
The figure shows the creation of a tissue-engineered scaffold over 5-30 days. Cells are isolated, mixed with alginate, and combined with calcium ions to form scaffolds. Higher calcium and alginate concentrations result in stiffer scaffolds. These scaffolds are then incubated and monitored using microscopy to assess cell behavior and scaffold properties.
