This figure is adapted from figure 3 of the article 'Survivin Small Molecules Inhibitors: Recent Advances and Challenges'.
There are six identified survivin variants: 1) the wild-type with four exons, 2) survivin-ΔEx3 lacking exon 3 with a frameshift extending into the 3′ untranslated region, 3) survivin-2α and 4) survivin-3α containing only exons 1 and 2, 5) survivin-2B with an additional exon 2B between exons 2 and 3, and 6) survivin-3B with a novel exon 3B between exons 3 and 4.
