The IgLON family of cell adhesion molecules expressed in developing sensory system in mice
Description
The present study extends IgLONs role in functioning to the development of the sensory system and PNS. Sex specific impairments in somatosensory function were reported in Negr1−/− mice expand the developmental findings. Overall our findings highlight the involvement of IgLON molecules during sensory circuit formation and suggest Negr1’s critical role in somatosensory processing.
