Description
This template shows the principle of a thermal shift assay, plotting soluble protein abundance against temperature for a control protein and a treated protein that has been stabilized by a bound ligand. The treated protein's melting temperature (Tm) shifts to a higher temperature than the control, reflected as a rightward shift in the unfolding curve and shown by folded, partially denatured, and denatured protein states.
