Yeast Transformation by Electroporation
Description
This template shows yeast transformation by electroporation in four steps, starting with cultured electrocompetent yeast cells and addition of plasmids carrying a gene of interest. Electric pulses then permeabilize the cells to let plasmids enter, and transformed cells become antibiotic resistant and grow as colonies on a plate.
